Newseum Institute > Initiatives > Chips Quinn Scholars Program for Diversity in Journalism > CQS 25th Anniversary
The Chips Quinn Scholars program marks its 25th anniversary in 2016, making it one of the most enduring newsroom diversity programs in the country.
To celebrate this milestone, we’ve invited all 1,358 alumni of the program to share their most meaningful professional accomplishment to date. By posting at least one contribution from an alum on the website each week, we hope to create a portfolio that reflects the breadth and depth of the directions in which Scholars have taken their lives, snapshots of dreams followed, challenges tackled, fulfillment achieved.
We are dedicating this online tribute to the program’s co-founders, John and the late Loie Quinn, and to all who have had a role, no matter how big or small, in the success of the Chips Quinn Scholars program.
